Yes, we love meditation!
But our meditation retreat is about more than just meditation. We help you build a tool-kit to bring more balance and well-being into your life.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Over the course of our time together, you'll be guided through a number of experiences that will build on our transformational theme for the retreat. We'll gather Friday evening, begin each day at 8am with a morning meditation, enjoy a full day and evening together on Saturday and finish mid-afternoon on Sunday. There will be group sessions to enjoy, bonding with amazing women, personal exercises to delve in to, and savouring wonderful food. All of our Pathways to Peace retreats will include the following:
You will learn to meditate and/or build your existing practice.
Enjoy teachings from modern & ancient wisdom traditions.
Experience the calming effect of mini-Reiki sessions.
Express your learning through a creative project.
Enjoy the physical movement of Qigong as a moving meditation.
All meals, snacks, beverages & activities are included, from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
Everything that you do at our retreats is experiential and meant to enhance your journey.
You'll experience Aha! moments, joy, laughter, celebration and friendship. It's the perfect time to give yourself the gift of a fresh perspective and a renewed You!

Life is infinitely easier when you can learn to let things go. But this is not always so easy to do. At this retreat we will delve into strategies to help you do just that. Let It Go & Let It Flow.
Strategy #1 - You guessed it - Meditate! It doesn't matter if you are brand new to meditation or have a regular practice. We'll work with you according to your needs.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
Feeling comfortable and being able to make yourself at home, is a key element of the weekend that our participants love.
We'll be spending our days and evenings in Glenda's beautiful home in Bobcaygeon. Everyone feels free to plug in the kettle, grab a snack, snuggle into a comfy chair with a blanket, cuddle with Stewey the Zen Poodle or a kitty, and simply be comfortable in the space.
Glenda’s husband Bill is our chef extraordinaire (he also works at a local restaurant), who kindly makes himself scarce when not doing kitchen duty or helping with our art creations – he also cleans up after us!
Your investment to join us for these transformative retreats is $475.00 per weekend. Save your spot by October 26, and choose to pay in full or over 2 payments. The first amount of $238.00 will be required at the time of registration. The final payment of $237.00 will be due November 02, 2018. Registrations after the 2 payment option date must be paid in full at the time of registration. Payment dates are noted on the registration forms.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel more than 30 days before the retreat start date, the full amount that you have paid will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee. There are no refunds less than 30 days before the retreat start date, but you may sell, gift your spot or use it for a future retreat.

We are two like-minded souls who met in late 2014 while training to become Certified davidji Masters of Wisdom & Meditation Teachers. First bonding through our class Facebook group, that bond became solid as we traveled together from Toronto to Carlsbad California for our in-residence week of training.
When the women in our first Desire Map workshop told us we made a powerful team and needed to continue “doing what we do" together - we listened. Their comments simply confirmed what we'd discovered – we loved working together and our separate strengths and talents complemented each other perfectly. Thus, Moonset Wisdom Retreats was created to become an integral part of our separate businesses – InnerOm Wisdom and Moonset Meditation.
I'm passionate about the transformation that meditation and 'digging in' can bring to people. These actions have both had a significant impact on my life and if I can help others though what I've learned, then my journey has been worthwhile.
Meditation is what saved my sanity when I went through very stressful times in a recession-hit business. It had a tremendous impact on my healing in the following years and lead me on the path to studying with davidji and becoming a teacher.
If I had taken the time time for self-care and to know and acknowledge what I really wanted for my life, I would have made decisions very differently during those times. I ignored how I felt – because that’s what you're supposed to do. Right? Wrong! As you embrace your own personal wellness and transformation it will be my honour to help guide you along your path.

Nothing has affected me more profoundly than the experiences of becoming a meditation teacher. My journey with healing work began in 1992 with the unique opportunity to study Shiatsu in Japan as an apprentice. Today, I AM deeply committed to the role that meditation and intuitive healing work can play in bringing us on our path towards wholeness.
As an R.M.T. and R.Ac. (Registered Massage Therapist and Acupuncturist), I have been fortunate enough to witness the deep link between the mind, emotions, body and spirit, and have come to know the importance of balancing all of these aspects within our being. This knowledge combined with intuitive personal insight allows me to help bring healing and guidance to others. Creating and holding a space within which others can heal is a large part of my purpose in this life.

We love this quote from Lao Tzu. We transform the world by transforming ourselves. It's funny how the way we perceive something or look at things can change. Actually, it can be down right amazing and both ourselves and our students have experienced this.
Taking care of yourself is often something that gets left behind or put off. Someday we will do it, just not now - and then 'someday' never comes as we get wrapped up in everyday life.
So we ask you - will you do it? Will you do it now? For yourself? It is important work, this taking care of ourselves.

Do you need accommodation?
As you will be spending the vast majority of your time with us and very little time at your accommodation, these locations that are just minutes from the house have kindly offered you a special rate. There are other hotels in the area as well, and of course, you are free to stay where it suits you best. If you are coming with a friend, we can inquire about sharing a room.
